Practice Outfitting is tools and team-mates for TCK care. With Practice Outfitting you’ll have fellow TCK clinicians to call on for consultation, to debrief and share resources with. We’ll also help you set up a suitable and secure suite of all the tech you need to get to work serving your clients.
The practice you build will stay your own. Just like camping and canoeing outfitters, we won’t tell you where to go, but will help you with gears and maps to get you there. Don’t wander in the process of crafting your TCK care practice. You can get to the fun part faster with Outfitting help from Intrepid Counseling.

Intrepid Counseling’s model is neither employment or contract work. Instead, instead of having someone else decide how much you get paid, in our Practice Outfitting program, you pay a set monthly subscription fee based on the services you’ve selected. All the money you make in your practice goes directly to you. You’re in charge of your hours, your fees, your mobility and clinical focus. With as mobile and complicated as our lives are, we TCK clinicians need this flexibility.

Frequently Asked Questions About TCK Practice Outfitting

Intrepid Counseling’s goal is to be as findable to clients as possible, and this website is like a TCK-labeled door for your practice. Unlike employment, I can’t guarantee you clients. You’ll still need to network and advertise, but I can help you with that.

If you already have a practice established and want to add TCK care, you’re in good company in our group. Maybe you have mostly useful tools but want advice on patching some TCK telehealth-specific function-holes. Most likely you don’t have a great consultation group for TCK cases yet. Let’s talk about what you need and how I can help.

You need to have graduated from your program and be at the licensure level that enables you to own your own private practice. Some states allow Associate level clinicians to do this, some do not. If you haven’t achieved full licensure yet, you need to have a supervisor in your state that guides your clinical practice.

There is a Terms of Service document, (contact me for a sample one), but you do not have to sign up for a fixed length of time. The monthly subscription fee is based on the services you’ve selected and can be cancelled at any time.
